Robert McNamara, Johnson's Secretary of DefenseToday we looked at President Johnson and the Gulf of Tonkin Resolution. Using the website Conflict-Indochina and the pages LBJ and The Gulf of Tonkin and The Gulf of Tonkin Incident, we read a brief overview of Johnson's presidency and watched 5 video clips giving different perspectives of the incident. The class then had 6 questions, posted on Edmodo/14August, 2014, to answer. The last 2 questions needed more work so students have been directed to watch the 5 videos again and consider their answers to questions 5 and 6.
